Here are some photos of The Knot‘s Annual Marketing Mixer that I was handpicked by them to plan, coordinate & design. It was held on October 22nd at The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum and it was a great night. I had the opportunity to work with some amazing vendors on this event.
On the first site visit I fell in love with this venue, it’s history, it’s charm…it was all so wonderful. On the second visit I brought my children and we took the tour of the ships and museum and had so much fun! Fall is my favorite season and I knew I wanted to work in some Fall details in the overall design. One of my favorite forms of creativity is carving pumpkins and I knew they’d be perfect to put outside on the deck area where cocktails would be served.
Before I went to pick out linens and any other rental items we’d need, I browsed Peterson Party Center’s website and found a few linens that I loved. When I went to the showroom those very linens that I loved online were on a table display in the showroom…it was meant to be! They were even more beautiful in person. When it came to flowers, I knew I wanted to work with Katydid Flowers on this event and as always, their designs were gorgeous!
